Bringing the NCLEX Test Map to Life During Course Orientation Through the Final Exam

While nursing educators know the NCLEX test map exists, many have not considered how the test map impacts the education process. The NCLEX test map is a large guide which is often times hard to explain in structure and curriculum use and, for students, hard to understand the role that it plays in their education.  The Test plan is frequently introduced before graduation for its attempt as a preparatory aid to pass the NCLEX.  

This webinar focused on: 

  • faculty understanding of the structure and function of the test map along with ways to identify where their particular content in the map exists
  • creative ways to introduce the test map into the curriculum creating an early understanding 
  • goals of developing a student comfort level with the structure, composition and types of NCLEX questioning for which they are responsible.
