Technologies used within nursing programs are expected to change over the next five years, according to a recent study of thought leaders in the nursing field, conducted by Wolters Kluwer and the National League for Nursing (NLN). With new technologies coming in and older technologies being dropped, technology use in terms of online/distance learning, virtual simulation, and electronic health record applications are only some of the main technologies expected to grow in use as early as the next two to three years!
